On 26 June 2014 in Och Theatre in Warsaw the second edition of the Billennium Paperless Seminar took place. The seminar was attended by representatives of banks and insurance companies operating on the Polish market. The underlying idea behind the seminar is to promote reduction of paper consumption in financial institutions through application of IT solutions and optimization of processes. This year the main topic of the seminar was the handwritten digital signature that Billennium has been implementing on the Polish market together with its technology partners – Softpro of Germany (bought by Kofax of the US) and Wacom of Japan. Among companies that cooperate with Billenium with regard to developing the Paperless platform are Microsoft and QlikTech – the world leader in data analysis. The seminar was attended by representatives of the four partners.
